Day 1: Arrival and check in
Upon your arrival in Cali, proceed to your assigned hotel and check in with the receptionist at the lobby of the InterContinental Hotel. Settle into your room and get some rest in preparation for your 8-hour tour the following day.
Day 2: Arts and Museum Tour
Wake up to a good weather and get ready for a full day’s tour around the city after your complimentary breakfast at the restaurant hotel. For the next hours, you will go on an Arts and Museum tour.
Since Cali is the Capital of Salsa. You will first visit the Plazoleta Jairo Varela, the guide-driver will take you from there and it will only be a 3-min drive to its destination. It is a monument dedicated to the famous musician, Jairo Varela. And when you get inside it you will hear salsa music.
From there, your next stop will be the La Ermita Church, known for its beautiful architure. It is also a Neo-Gothic Roman Catholic church with a revered 18th-century painting & Italian marble altar.
And of course the most exciting part is their classic cuisine in the heart of Cali, that is an 8-min walk from the church. Experience their great food and service.
After your delicious meal, next you will visit the Museo Arqueológico La Merced. It is a compact museum housing a variety of artifacts from the region’s pre-Columbian cultures. And lastly is the Centro Cultural de Cali, different kinds of cultural activities are performed there. There are art exhibitions and several showrooms which makes the place so uniquely beautiful.
Day 3: Sightseeing Tour
Take in a lungful of the fresh air while enjoying your complimentary breakfast. Prepare for another fun Cali tour, beginning with a trip to El Gato del Rio or known as the Cat of the Park. It is a donation by
the well-known Colombian artist, Hernando Tejada. And besides the main cat, there’s a whole cat park here, with different sculptures and they are all painted by several famous Colombian artists. For sure cat lovers will love this place.
Before we go strolling in the Barrio San Antonio, let’s venture first the Museo Caliwood. It is a cinematography museum featuring projectors, cameras & related equipment.
Next stop is the Barrio San Antonio, which is the extension of the downtown. You can also walk uphill to enjoy their street arts. This place is safe and quiet. At the top you will find the San Antonio park, where you can see the entire view of Cali. A great place for taking pictures. Beside it you can see the Iglesia de San Antonio.
Last stop is the famous Monumento Cristo Rey. It’s a one long hour drive but worth taking.
It is a great place complementing the beauty of Cali.
As you ascend the hill you can see the work of artist Carlos Andrés Gómez, who for two years sculpted his work on 34 ravines.

Day 4: Plan your own day
You get to set your schedule today, so feel free to explore the city at your own pace. Otherwise, you have the option to join another package tour so that you make the most of your day in Cali; choose among available day tours and sign-up with one that tickles your fancy. Or you can just enjoy the Hotels’ services.
Experience Cali Nightlife
Never leave Cali without experiencing Cali’s nightlife. You can enjoy a spectacular Salsa show in the Carpa Delirio located at Centro de Eventos Valle del Pacífico or Salsa Cabaret of Ensalsate in the neighborhood of El Peñon.
Day 5: Departure
Before leaving Cali, take time to do some last-minute souvenir shopping or picture taking, and then prepare for your trip back.
