Exclusive day only September 20th to October 4th: Pick up from the hotel and our driver will take you to the San Pacho Festival to celebrate Saint Francis, the patron saint of Quibdo, the department’s capital, with music, dancing, religious processions, and enough partying to make Carnival seem like a week of pious reflection. 

Day 1: Arrival to Quibdó

Arrival from your International flight at the nearest airport which is El Caraño Airport, Quibdó. Customs formalities, then meet our staff. Drive to the city center for about 30 minutes to your hotel. Take the rest of the day off.

Day 2: Sightseeing to Malecon del Rio Atrato de Quibdó and San Francisco De Asis Cathedral

Breakfast at your local bed and breakfast. Your driver will take you to Malecon del Rio Atrato de Quibdó, located in the center of Quibdó. Perfect place to watch the sunset on the banks of the Atrato River. You can also see San Francisco De Asis Cathedral, just at the back of it. Spend the rest of the day sightseeing around the city and then back to the hotel.

Day 3: Fresh dip at Cascada Sal De Frutas

Breakfast at your hotel. 30 minutes from the capital, you will reach Cascada Sal De Frutas, a paradise of crystalline waters in which the intense green of the trees is reflected and is classified as one of the most beautiful rivers in Chocó and the main tourist site in the municipality of Quibdó. We recommend you take a canoe that will take you to the Sal de Frutas waterfall to support local tourism. Back to the hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing and fresh dip at Piedra Del Diablo Tutunendo

After breakfast at a local restaurant near the hotel, the driver will pick you up. You will travel to Piedra Del Diablo Tutunendo, a magical place and even more so if you can go upriver by canoe to see the narrowness of the river or reach the indigenous reserve. From there, you do a quick trek and reach Sendero eco turístico de Tutunendo. Drive around the town and then back to the hotel. 

Day 5: Boat ride on the Atrata River

Our team will pick you up from your local bed and breakfast. Travel to the port in Malecon del Rio Atrato de Quibdo. You will then take a boat ride down to Isla San Balsamia and Isla Santa Clara for sightseeing. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure and then our team will take you to the airport.
